None dare call it what it is. None dare stop it now?

I will call its name TREASON.

The NYTimes is very stingy when it comes to font size in their headlines. In fact it downplays most headlines as a matter of style the evidence seems to proven (let’s hope). They cut loose today. Not a great sign. So how do we accept a man who has known, abetted or aided in violating the constitution and will send this country into chaos.

A man and his minions who so wanted to win the prize and would do anything it took to get it. Or an easily conned con artist ANYTHING AT ALL. And so they did. It is far too late to ask ‘cui bono’?

Is this an algorithmic coup’d’etat? I am not a hacker so I cannot offer an answer – but I know how it feels to me. And I absolutely believe it can and could be done. Imagine if another major world power did this. We would call out the Marines. We would round-up our forces to show everyone watching that this country is not about allow hacked elections, lies, cheating and treason to our nation friends and allies. Now who shall we call?

This is my burning question is this :

WHAT IS GOING TO BE DONE?

Maybe we should all ask ourselves this question because even those who supported the architect of the coup. Even those chose this dupe should be able to admit this is not quite what Americans as a whole had in mind. Not just the Democrats. ALL of us. Even Snowden and Manning (Those vile monsters who betrayed our country. Those we quickly deplored and put in exile. Are they really traitors? or unsung heroes). Even if you achieve the end of the world we have now, who will you tell? Who will be left to listen.

The clock is ticking citizens of the land. Defenders of the Constitution? And time is running into the gutter. I am not going quietly into this sinkhole. Can I get a witness?

Part 1.  A little background

It is hard not to hate Israel.  Here is a little country that just won’t go away.  And it’s got an army of willing soldiers – no burnt out prison drop outs recruits – the IDF loves Israel.  They know how to do their jobs and more than that – they know why they are doing them.  Sitting on a piece of spiritually important land that has been under siege since time immemorial – they cover their borders and do what they must to protect their country.

Israel’s larger problem – one of many – is that it is full of Jews.  Nobody likes Jews – a case in point was the nastiness in WW2 that Hitler didn’t solve, to his regret.  But Hitler’s idea had a huge family tree and Jew hating, Jew-berating and Jew-baiting has been an historical pastime since easily 93 CE.  Well a game that can last that long isn’t gonna disappear quickly.

Israel became Israel a long time ago and before other newer religions co-opted the area – Jews held the stewardship of Israel and they held it seriously.  The West Wall of the Temple – in size alone – is an indication of just what the Israelis were able to create a long time ago. Smitten, smited, smote – they soldiered on moving like a tribe of outcasts throughout their Diaspora.  In Arab lands they became “dhimmies”.  “Dhimmies can never be citizens but they do have to pay and they pay and pay and pay at the whim of whomever is in charge. The do NOT have equal rights.  They serve a purpose because they know how to work and take care of their own.  The image of a Jewish dhimmi laying around sucking on a hookah, out of work,  may have happened – but I haven’t found any reference to it. SO  the fact they contribute – despite Draconian code and laws – is just another reason to hate them.  Fact is that Judaism follows so many holy observances that it’s hard to have time to work and pray and plot.

Israel is a productive country. What?  Jews aren’t farmers or factory workers. It has scientific and manufacturing sectors, garment trades, agriculture and all the talents the Diaspora brought together in 1948 (and of course before). And Jews are a creative and talented people.  In the 101 year history of Alfred Nobel’s Prize – 180 of the winners have been Jews – from various countries – but Jews.  People hate that.  For the record nine Muslims have won the Nobel Prize; five of which have been for Peace*.  (*There is an interesting argument about this which is too long to discuss here.) Mostly they figure some huge Jewish conspiracy rigged it all and so the prizes aren’t all that important.  But ask someone casually if they were to win the Nobel Prize  for anything – how would they feel?  The answer is usually the same.  The time for the International Zionist New World Order speech never goes away but you all know what it is.
I won’t bore you.

Part 2  A little foreground.

And now it comes to Gaza.  Gaza is a political and ideological and religious mess.  There are so many sanctions related to it that I would never get them all in order and/or I would bore you to tears.  Let’s just say that Israel relinquished the Gaza Strip by accord and let it go.  When a terror group (Hamas) won the elections in Gaza – the surrounding countries seemed to have a problem with that, including Israel.  Israel built a big wall.  Not very neighborly but ghetto mentality creates ghetto ingenuity.  Gazans went south to their brother in faith and purpose – Egypt – Egypt built a wall.  Draw your own conclusions.

Into the picture comes the Guerilla Flotillas.  “Humanitarian” ships that have been offered docking and offloading in two countries – Egypt and Israel.  The offering countries also agreed to get the goods to Gaza right away. Cyprus refused to allow to dock.  How rude. I can see not trusting Israel – but Egypt.  What’s the problem?  Israel told the ships not to approach an embargoed Gaza.  The Guerilla Flotillas did it anyway.  Israel went to stop them and all hell broke loose.   People were shot, people were injured and people are mad.  Now some idiot Irish ship is chugging to where it doesn’t belong to try the same thing.  Turkey (who thinks someone recently died and put them in charge) has issued stern warnings to “dem Jews”.
 Part 3  My own observation
In my opinion there is not a two state resolution – a simple look at the map of the area will show a first grader you cannot accept a country in pieces in another country you hate.  Illogical, a waste of effort, time and money.   Humanitarian aid is abundantly available from dozens on non-allied agencies – their books are clean and show no ties to Jihadis.  (Oops – forgot Jihad – the engine that drives all this).

The received wisdom is that Gaza is a peace seeking, failed and barren state under siege with clean hands.  This happened because Israel set it free and then Hamas took over.  I would say it speaks more to the ability of  Hamas to oversee a country than it does Israel letting it go.  From the pix I have seen recently Gaza has a lot of food, people drinking coffee at cafes and plenty of potatoes.  Smart Jews probably photo shopped them – but they look real to me.

So I can see why so many people hate Israel.  And those crafty, clever, money making, smart productive Jews.  What I cannot see is the rationale.  Just as the QED in the Guerilla Flotillas. They sound more like a stupid, provocative act designed to force Israel’s hand and bring in things other than food and medicine.  After the last 9 years – Why is this so hard for people to imagine.  Or shall I dust off my burqua?

Taking stock of Stockholm and Copenhagen in the last week has led me to some conclusions that may not sound very patriotic, but honesty should not be usurped by mislaid love of country.  You can love your country without loving some of what is done in its name.   The same goes for your neighbor.

Copenhagen.  In order to speed greed you have to be able to use every tool you have to get there.  Greed is a global goal.  Or the spoils of greed.  And why not – I think we have reached a tipping point (thank you MG) where all the fingers in all the dikes are not going to make enough of an impact to save much of anything.  Sounds hopeless but it may be more truth than anyone can bear to utter.  I was green in the 70’s – what fun being laughed out of conversations about destroying the planet and the small steps that could be taken to slow this down. And if that wasn’t annoying enough – being green was expensive (as it is now) and impeded by the newest in living better through chemistry.  No one cared about Three Mile Island or Union Carbide or the Woburn Cancer Cluster.  A few (hundred thousand) souls were a small sacrifice for Big Biz to absorb in the pursuit of money. Collateral damage without even a war. That was 40 years ago.

We have made huge strides in our pursuit of the Money and the Brand.  As Pogo said “We have met the enemy and he is us”.  He is.  No one wants to lower emissions by charter.  If they sign up then they have to be responsible and we cannot have that and corporate sovereignty.    Copenhagen was not quite what we had in mind.  So while the planet slimes and slurps and melts and freezes and generally goes the way of a Styrofoam cup – there is good news too – we have found water on the Moon.  Get ready to play the collectible, limited edition of Lunar Monopoly.

Stockholm.  White tie is never unpleasant to see.  And President Obama looked wonderful and a little confused in his as he accepted the Nobel Prize.

But the point is this: Any president in 2009 has inherited 8 years of a war without a point. Obama is doing what Sadam-obsessed W should have continued to do when he deployed Oct 7 2001. Instead he drained our country of soldier’s blood to get an imaginary enemy. We are now back to square one/Oct 7 2001 when the target was Al Qaeda in Afghani/Pakistan. He is merely doing – and not something I like either – what W should have done and won

I am not sure Mr. Obama should have won the Nobel Peace Prize.  I doubt he thinks so either. And as he sends troops into no-win Afghanistan it is an even harder accolade to accept or deserve. Ah well. Unfortunately they do not yet have a Nobel War Prize.  Or a Nobel Door Prize.

According to Wikipedia among the conditions separating a recession from a depression is the length of time it lasts. I refer you to Wikipedia for this macroeconomic mumbo-jumbo because it all sounds like obfuscation (as opposed to stagflation) to me. Having said that I can now believe in my heart that anyone reading this has gone straight to Wiki to figure out the situation personally.

Have you ever read Alan Greenspan’s favorite author? Ayn Rand tells a good story – but she clearly was a right wing nut when it came to money and how you get it and who is entitled to it. She was a consummate corporate shill from the jump and cleverly coined the term objectivism for her personal credo. I think her choice of words was brilliant. Who doesn’t want to be “objective”? It’s the highest form of accolade – juries are advised to be objective in the dispensing of equal justice. But read the philosophy she invented and you will ask yourself “Who is John Galt” and why do we want to find him anyway? He was a greedy bastard. Ayn basically, sort of thought, in a way, that it was every man for himself, get as much money as possible and for God’s sake don’t give any thought to anyone who doesn’t or can’t do the same because they don’t really count. It could be summed up by saying the rich get and stay rich and the poor don’t exist and therefore deserve nothing at all. Read Atlas Shrugged and tell me you don’t see terrifying parallels. Except hers was a work of fiction.

With this in mind, I do believe The United States of America is going out of business. If I thought the current resident of the White House could actually read, I would suspect he read Atlas Shrugged and loved it. Let’s assume Greenspan gave him the Cliff Notes. Shall I blame our current administration for putting personal gain before the welfare of the country? Shall I call the current administration a sackful of greedy bastards who sold the populace down the river without a paddle, a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of? Shall I name the river “The Shitz”. At this point, the question is moot. We are engaged in an economic maelstrom that has spun so far out of control we need no longer curse the Decider because he doesn’t give a Texas damn. Never did.

Gas is almost $5 dollars a gallon – something to do with back room politics and oil profiteering, I suppose. There is no offset in wages to make this an equitable situation. Since the damn country loves it some oil, I suspect this is a long term condition.

We got the Bejesus bombed out of NYC 7 years ago. The space left behind is still out of business. The perpetrator eludes capture (if in fact he is even alive anymore – they do great stuff with holograms at Disney). Over 3,000 people died in that ugly event and it was hideous. Apparently the best and smartest way to thump our chest to send a message is to: send Americans into a country that was not implicated in the 9/11 attacks, run a religious, civil war that does not concern us and in the process, rack up 4,000 US souls as a way of showing somebody (not sure who) that we know how to fight a war and someone better pay attention. How many of you actually feared Saddam Hussein? Nightmare afraid?  Do you sigh with relief every day that he is gone for good – hanged by the neck until dead. This feel good charade costs $5K a minute to buy into everyday. The lost American lives in Iraq exceed the loss of lives on 9/11 and so instead of limiting our losses we doubled them and we show no sign of stopping. Makes me think of Vietnam. I don’t like to think of that illegal war either.

There are fewer and fewer jobs available in this country because we send all our ideas and business to China. I spend more time trying to find a product NOT made in China than an Orthodox Jewish housewife does hunting for the OU. If I recall a while back Red China was not a country we found very democratic. Tiananmen Square showed us how it goes in China if you speak out and it is an image that will not fade from my psyche anytime soon. Since damn near everything China stands for politically is the antithesis of our Constitution I have yet to figure out why we owe them so much money and why we send our specs over for the creation of cheap, crappy products made by oppressed workers. Think about really pricey shoes and bags – anything over $500. You only have to research where they are made to find out that some high ticket designer has gone to the East and paid very little to charge very much for “factory made in China shoes” and other items. The old silk purse out of a sow’s ear – but it is actually happening. Gets my goat. Plus they poison us now and then by being just as greedy as the rest of the consumer driven world.. Killer pet food, deathly children’s meds and that old standby – lead paint. God knows what else that we don’t know about.

Retirement has become the next season of Survivor for all of us over 55. Health care – get ready to die in despair. Big Pharma – yummy – let’s suck as much as we can from the poor health consumer and get rich. My hat is off to the Gay community for making HIV/AIDS a political issue and finding a way to treat people with the virus no matter what their financial situation. But it took work and still does. It happened because that community and others with AIDS in their demographic refused to take no for an answer. When we discovered it wasn’t a “gay” disease – the infrastructure was already in place for the health care. Pension plans – soon to be missing from your future. Employer paid medical benefits – in no time flat you will get a cheap first aid kit, made (of course) in China and they will still take it out of your paycheck every month. And that will be healthcare. This country – conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are equal and entitled to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, in eight sickening years has effectively sold out the population and in the current climate – it won’t be the New Deal that will fix it. We have run out of New Deals. There are no deals left. We have no GDP – we have 70 year olds working to put Ensure on the table; we have “American” companies leaving the work force unemployed because it’s cheaper to do it overseas. And yet we are still urged to buy, rent, upgrade and improve our condition by going shopping. Who thought this up?

The housing crisis – who got that ball rolling? And how could anyone be suckered so completely by a scheme that didn’t make a lick of sense and still doesn’t. It is very difficult to find any employment without a fixed address – living in a car parked in someone’s driveway is not considered a fixed address. Empty, ugly McMansions glut the market and sit, unoccupied, while families are being raised in homeless shelters.

The economists may not consider it a depression, but I am depressed. And sad and ashamed of what has been done right before our eyes. We have been hijacked by the government in power and no one seems as angry as they did when our last Chief of State got some from an intern. I just do not get it. I am angry and I am still very depressed.

This blog has many looks to go.  I like this better than the last one though.

Re:  Sledge – you are preaching to the choir. The WMD thing (oops, war) in Iraq.  I ain’t gonna study war no more.  No one else studied on it – they just started fighting and blowed things up real good.  Ask your average Joe what makes a Shiite not a Sunni and you will draw a big blank.  Ask the decider.  Bigger Blank. Like the Old Man says in Candide “They all believe what they’re screaming.  We’ll see.”
