McCain Meant To Reject Spain Meeting, Adviser Says  – Sam  Stein today in the Huffpost. Click and read – then come back
for my suspicions.

McCain….This is what he knows so far.
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain!
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain!
I suspect it was more like this:

Int: Do you know where Juan Carlos reigns?
McCain: Is he the guy who comes to fix our drains?
Our drains?
Int: No John; try this instead. How about Zapatero, the Prime Minister of Spain
John: Who?  Zapatero? Do I know him  What’s the question? He’s where?
Interviewer:  In Spain! In Spain!
John: In Spain? In Spain?
Int; Would you meet him in the White House?
John: Again? Again?
Int:  I’ll try again – tell me this
Int:  How can I make this more plain!  more plain!
John: He’s on a plane? A plane?
Int : No John, no – he’s in Spain! In Spain!
McCain: And where’s that blasted plane?
Int: in spain. in spain
McCain: So Zapatero stays mainly on the plane?
The brain from Spain stays mainly on the plane?
The rain from Spain stays mainly on the plane?
I think I’ve got it
I think I’ve got it
He hasn’t got it

Poor Zapatero can’t speak English, which doesn’t help Spain knock any sense into McCain’s brain, which causes pain and strain, I wish he’d take the train back to from where he came.
